Tom Hiddleston , who worked on the BBC’s The Night Manager series in 2016, recently got to know Aditya Roy Kapur , his counterpart in the Indian version of the show. Their meeting took place through a hilarious video call , immortalized by some images shared on Kapur’s Instagram profile himself. During a screening of The Night Manager India in London, which was also attended by series director Priyanka Ghose and creator/director Sandeep Modi, Tom Hiddleston spoke with Aditya Roy Kapur via video call, to the astonishment of all.
“We went to the London screening with zero hopes of seeing Tom but to our surprise he walked in alongside David Farr ,” Modi said speaking to Deadline . “I remember walking into the theater and telling them it felt like an ambush, because I was showing one of the world’s most beloved shows to the people who originally created it. Modi later revealed that the screening of The Night Manager India was a success, receiving applause from those present, adding that Hiddleston himself was keen to congratulate us on the work done and on Aditya’s performance. Recently, to the delight of fans, it was confirmed that the TV series will return with a second season .
