Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams has reportedly joined a celebrity dating app following her split with boyfriend of five years Reuben Selby last month. The actress, who grew up in the Somerset village of Clutton, has turned to celebrity matchmaking app Raya after being encouraged by friends to join.
According to The Sun, a source said that the 25-year-old doesn’t want to “rush” into a new relationship, however “if it happens, it happens.” They also told the newspaper that Maisie wants to “throw herself into the dating game. Raya markets itself as ‘an exclusive dating and networking platform for people in creative industries.’ The Bristol-born star joined Raya recently following her break-up with Reuben last month. The actress made the announcement after last being pictured with the designer, 25, at Paris Fashion week in October, the Mail Online reports.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Maisie’s pals have got her on Raya in the last few days as she feels like she wants to throw herself into the dating game. Right now she just wants some fun and to take things slow, though. She doesn’t feel the need to race into another relationship. But if it happens, it happens. Other celebrities that have used the dating app Raya include England football star Mason Mount, singers Ashley Roberts and Demi Lovato and Keke Palmer.
It’s alleged Maisie’s ex-boyfriend Reuben has already moved on after he was spotted being affectionate with model Phoebe Torrance at London Fashion Week. The pair had been together for five years and were inseparable since going public with their romance in 2019. Sharing a snap of the pair, along with a break-up announcement on her Instagram story, Maisie wrote: “The end of an era. Reuben and I have decided to end our relationship.
Since we met 5 years ago, our connection always extended deeply into our shared, and separate, creative careers… and it will continue to do so. This decision is something we are so grateful or as we can protect the magic, that we can’t help but emit, whenever we put our brains together. P.s no further questions, please, we must protect our children (my dog).”
