Grand Theft Auto 6 is definitely in the works and is likely to be called ‘Vice City’—that is, if legendary rapper 50 Cent is to be believed. In a shock Twitter post, 50 Cent shared a promotional image in the same visual style as Grand Theft Auto which simply says ‘Vice City. He didn’t add context, but just said: “I will explain this later” and added “bigger than POWER trust me”, referring to the TV crime drama he co-produces.
Previous GTA 6 leaks have suggested that 50 Cent is not the only legendary rapper to be involved in the rumoured upcoming game. In late 2021, Snoop Dogg ‘accidentally’ confirmed GTA 6 is on the way when he revealed in a Rolling Stone interview that both Dr Dre and himself are working on music for the game. Talking about a Dr Dre collaboration, Snoop said: “I do know he’s in the studio. I do know he’s making great f**king music. And some of his music is connected to the GTA game that’s coming out. So I think that will be the way that his music is released, through the GTA video game.”
