Vin Diesel offers new look at Jason Momoa filming Fast X

Fast X duo Vin Diesel and Jason Momoa can be seen fist-bumping in a new photo from the set. Uploaded on Instagram yesterday (January 27), the returning Dom Toretto star captioned it: “Two weeks away from the FastX trailer launch!!!! Blessed to be a part of a Saga that encourages such great work from the many amazing artists that have made this the world’s Saga! A still from set after an intense, week long scene with my brother @prideofgypsies [pray emoji] #FastX.”

Going by the name Dante, Momoa’s newcomer happens to be the billion-dollar franchise’s latest antagonist. Previously teasing his character, the Aquaman actor told GQ: “It’s been hard because people always think I’m just this dude who plays [macho characters]. But I want to be moved, I want something new. Things are changing, and even the villain roles I’m playing now are eccentric. He went on to reveal that Dante colours his toenails pink, cruises a lavender vehicle and laughs like a maniac.

I’m a peacock at the highest level and I’m having the time of my life. Dante is an ally of Cipher’s, portrayed by Oscar-winner Charlize Theron, while other fresh faces added to the Fast & Furious universe this time around include Captain Marvel herself Brie Larson and Golden Age of Hollywood icon Rita Moreno. Alan Ritchson (Reacher) and Daniela Melchior (The Suicide Squad) were also cast in undisclosed roles, while Ludacris, Tyrese Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jason Statham, Jordana Brewster, Helen Mirren, John Cena, Michael Rooker and Sung Kang are reprising their respective parts.
