Popular American teen drama 13 Reasons Why rose to the very top pretty quickly and unsurprisingly became a subject of conversation when it premiered on March 31, 2017. This was because of its thought-provoking social issues and how they affect how teenagers live their lives. From depression to suicide to rape and even bullying, 13 Reasons Why was hard to watch in so many ways but yet relatable on so many levels.

After four attention-grabbing seasons, the show came to an end in June 2020. The show may have ended but certainly not the stars who sold the believability of the story. They’ve gained massive recognition after their time at Liberty High School, accumulated a reasonable fortune for themselves and gone on to impress yet again on other projects whether major or minor.
10 Alisha Boe Still Takes On Coming-Of-Age Roles
The actress portrayed Jessica Davis, on-again and off-again girlfriend of Justin (Brandon Flynn) and victim of rape at the hands of Bryce (Justice Prentice). Though she is best known for her role in the Netflix original series, in recent times, she’s known as elite high school queen Tara on another major Netflix project Do Revenge which premiered in September 2022. She has a new coming-of-age film When You Finish Saving the World, and would be starring in British period drama series The Buccaneers.
The Australian actress played Hannah Baker, the assaulted and depressed teen who succumbed to suicide, leaving behind tapes that explain events that led to her taking her life. Since she left her Golden Globes nominated role after two seasons, she has made great strides in her career whether voicing a character, starring in blockbusters or being a cover girl for major brands. She appeared in Love, Simon and 2019 mystery film Knives Out with a star-studded cast featuring Daniel Craig and Ana de Armas. Her other acting projects include Spontaneous, Netflix’s Cursed and Savage River. She will be starring in the title role in Starz The Venery of Samantha Bird.
8 Brandon Flynn Is Not Slowing Down Anytime Soon
Brandon Flynn played Justin Foley, fellow high school student and Jessica’s boyfriend from an abusive family. Having lived a not so rosy life, he gets adopted by Clay’s parents, but tests positive for HIV and dies in the series finale from AIDS-related meningitis. After his teenage time on the hit teen drama, he’s keeping busy with several other projects. He starred in 2020 dark rom-com Looks That Kill and horror film Hellraiser which premiered in October 2022. He also landed a recurring role in psychological thriller series Ratched alongside Sarah Paulson and Sharon Stone, and he will be starring in upcoming Apple miniseries Manhunt.
7 Dylan Minnette Is Busy With Music And Some Acting Gigs
Dylan Minnette took on the lead role of Clay Jensen, a high schooler with a crush on Hannah. As the series proceeds, he unravels reasons for Hannah’s death, is accused of murder and also battles a deteriorating mental issue. Now, the actor is over his love-pining days. He has gone on to star in the 2022 relaunch of the film series Scream as well as a recurring role in biographical crime drama miniseries The Dropout. The actor is also a musician with recent instagram shots of him rocking it on stage with his band Wallows.

6 Christian Navarro Guest Starred On Law & Order And Starred In An Horror Film
Navarro played Tony Padilla, Clay’s best friend. Before landing a main role in the Netflix series, he has guest starred in a couple of popular television projects like Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Blue Bloods, and Rosewood. Following his time on 13 Reasons Why, he has not had any main roles since then, save for his guest role on an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and a role as father Dante in the 2022 supernatural horror film Prey for the Devil. He made a post on Instagram about working on a drama podcast Bloodties for Wondery in March 2022.
5 Justin Prentice Has Not Made Any Film And TV Appearances Since 13 Reasons Why
Justin Prentice played main antagonist Bryce Walker, star athlete and serial rapist. He met his end at the hands of Alex (Miles Heizer). Prior to starring in 13 Reasons Why, the actor has guest starred in Criminal Minds, NCIS, Glee, and Awkward. The actor has not made any film and television appearances with the Netflix series being his last project so far. He also hardly posts on social media with his last Instagram post being in June 2022.

Miles Heizer played Alex Standall, student at Liberty High and former boyfriend of Jessica. He kills Bryce by throwing him into the river after Bryce suffered devastating injuries in the hands of Zach. With acting credits like Bones, Love, Simon, Nerve and Parenthood, 13 Reasons Why appears to be his last and latest project till date. Now, he’s snuggling up to his dog with posts on Instagram and living a pretty relaxing life away from the big screen.
3 Ross Butler Might Just Have The Most Acting Success Among The Bunch
Butler played Zach Dempsey, mutual friend to Justin and Bryce. He loses his college scholarship after suffering a broken knee inflicted by Bryce. He takes revenge on Bryce also breaking both his legs and elbow. Having suffered a project clash between CW’s Riverdale and 13 Reasons Why, the actor stuck with the latter and gave up his role in the former. Since appearing on the hit Netflix series, he has starred on other television shows like Swimming with Sharks, and Awkwafina is Nora from Queens. His film credits include To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You and Always and Forever, Raya and the Last Dragon,and Shazam! Fury of the Gods. The actor has two films on the way: Perfect Addiction which is set to be released in 2023, and Loveboat Taipei.

2 Devin Druid Has Done Two Films After 13 Reasons Why
Druid portrayed a shy, and bullied high school photographer Tyler Down who was also a victim of sexual assault. After he attempts a mass shooting at the school spring fling, but is talked out of it by Clay, he embarks on an emotional recovery journey. He has not made any television appearances after 13 Reasons Why, but starred in two 2020 films Greyhound alongside Tom Hanks and The Pale Door. His Instagram also shows no acting activity except loved up pictures with girlfriend Annie Marie Elliot.
1 Kate Walsh Has Gone On To Land Recurring Roles On Other Popular Netflix Projects
Walsh portrayed Hannah’s mother in seasons one and two who seeks to uncover the truth about her daughter’s death. She also guest starred in season three. The actress has so many film and television credits to her name with her almost 3 decades long acting career. After her time on 13 Reasons Why, she scored recurring roles on other Netflix television projects The Umbrella Academy and Emily In Paris. She also has a recurring role on Amazon Freevee’s Sprung.
