After taking a winter break, The Good Doctor is back with new episodes. What time is the winter premiere going to air on ABC? Like other broadcast shows, The Good Doctor took some time off during the holidays. While a lot of other shows returned at the start of January, we’ve had to wait a little longer for the return of the medical drama. At least it’s not as long as waiting for the return of Grey’s Anatomy!
Shaun and co. will return with a few big moments. For Shaun and Lea, it’s all about how Lea’s pregnancy is going. It should be a happy moment, but things aren’t looking that great for her. There are complications, and it’s going to take a surgery to fix everything. Of course, Shaun wants to be the one to do the surgery. This isn’t possible, though. He’ll need to rely on Glassman to do it all.
The Good Doctor Season 6, Episode 10 release time
There is some good news. The Good Doctor returns at the usual 10 p.m. ET/PT time. The episode will follow the new season of The Bachelor, which will take over the first two hours of the night. Why change something that is obviously working for ABC? We’re still waiting on renewal news for this series just yet. We’re pretty confident in it, but we’ll find out a little closer to the May Upfronts.
What to expect in the new episode
While there is a focus on Lea’s pregnancy in the new episode, there is more going on. There’s a teen in the hospital with Gardener’s Syndrome, and it’s up to Park, Reznik, and others to treat him. The problem is this teen’s past surgical history is going to threaten the new surgery for treatment. Shaun and Lea soon learn that their surprise pregnancy may also come with additional complications. Meanwhile, Doctors Park, Reznick and Allen treat a teen with Gardner’s syndrome whose past surgical history jeopardizes the outcome of his current one.
