Kim Menzies from 90 Day Fiancé has been dealing with the loss of her dear family members while keeping a smile on her face. The 52-year-old woman debuted as a reality TV star on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 5, in which she met Usman “Sojaboy” Umar for the first time in person. Kim used to be the primary caretaker of her mom, Sally, who she lived with until she passed away a year ago. And just as Kim was remembering her mom a year after she died, she revealed her sister Teri also passed away.
Fan-favorite Kim is earning sympathy from her Instagram followers while she continues to cope with her sister passing just one day after her mom’s death anniversary. She decided to let her fans know how she’s managing to make it through these difficult times. “Grief is just love with no place to go,” is a quote Kim decided to share along with a photo of herself trying to put on a brave smile. “I’m doing a little better,” 90 Day Fiancé celeb Kimwrote.
She admitted she just has to keep a smile on her face and keep being strong for herself, her son Jamal Menzies, and their family. Kim proceeded to thank everyone who reached out to her via DMs, comments, and phone calls.Kim admitted she is going through the “worst time” in her life. But what keeps her going is knowing that she is surrounded by love. It’s not only the death of her mother and sister within a year that’s hurting Kim right now. She’s also recently broken up with Usman, as revealed during the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 7 finale and Tell-All. But Kim assured a 90 Day Fiancé fan, “this isn’t about my break up lol” when they asked her to “stay strong.” Those who gave Kim their words of condolence and sympathy asked her to own her emotions and not be afraid to feel. “It gets better. Small steps,” wrote a fan, and Kim replied, “I’m taking baby steps.”
Kim and Usman may no longer be together, but she is still gaining strength from his support which he conveys through his comments. Kim was devastated upon learning about Usman wanting the phone number of a woman he was seeing for his second marriage. Kim had been body-shamed by Usman in the past when he made fun of her tummy or the way she walks. But reality TV star Usman’s sweet talk with his probable 18-year-old wife in Nigeria made Kim comment, “I may walk out this door and meet the man of my dreams,” to 90 Day Fiancé host Shaun Robinson.
Kim’s biggest strength, however, is her son Jamal, who’s started to become an integral part of the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. Usman has been called out for using Kim by Jamal, who’s never one to mince words. Kim’s son has always been the voice of reason in her relationship with Usman. He doesn’t want to see his mom hurting. When her mom passed, Kim decided to focus on herself, her well-being, and her health. It’s not been an easy road for the 90 Day Fiancé star Kim, but she is healing one step at a time as she continues to get prayers and blessings from her fans.
