The second season of The White Lotus was a true cultural phenomenon this year. It seemed like everybody was watching and discussing the hit HBO show after it premiered back in October. Even though there were only seven episodes, director Mike White crafted an intricate web of characters whose zingers—and outfits—are now indelible (Jennifer Coolidge’s “Peppa Pig” pink look is still my favorite). It’s perhaps no surprise, then, that the season two cast has now been taking over the front rows at fashion week. Valentina, Lucia, Albie, and more—or rather, the actors who played them—have all been spotted at the fall 2023 men’s shows in Europe this month.
At the J.W. Anderson show on Sunday, Sabrina Impacciatore, who portrayed Valentina, the blunt White Lotus hotel manager, took a break from her character’s professional (and stuffy) suits to sport a bolder, cloud-print catsuit. Valentina gone wild! At the same show, Simona Tabasco, who you may know as Lucia—the swindling prostitute—branched out from her television character’s extra-colorful wardrobe in favor of a sleeker gunmetal gown that fell off the shoulder. Still, her ensemble had a hint of Lucia’s “la dolce vita” approach to dressing via her colorful blue strappy sandals and lilac shoulder bag. Both accessories are perfect for cozying up to the White Lotus bar and scamming a man out of 50,000 euros! At Prada, Adam DiMarco (Albie) opted for polished outwear via Prada’s gingham overcoat, styled with a black turtleneck, black dress pants. and square-toe shoes. Albie may have been too sweet and naive for his own good, but DiMarco’s ensemble is all grown up. The two tech bros of the show—Theo James (Cameron) and Will Sharpe (Ethan)—also delivered unexpectedly fresh looks at Armani. Sharpe chose a checkered faux-fur coat with wide leg jeans; while James opted for a slim, black double-breasted suit with chunky leather boots.
