Jason Statham’s film will be the first good cinema experience of 2023 – here is the trailer

The Hungarian-language trailer of Operation Fortune: The Big Scam may be familiar to many, as we saw it already in the spring, the current trailer only differs from the previous one in that the age limit of 16 has become official. The good news in our case is that the film will be released in cinemas (namely on January 5), which was doubtful because its original distributor, Vertical Entertainment, has ceased to exist, but as you can see, Forum Hungary has taken over the work.

Hollywood has become less willing to take risks on original movies. Studios are playing it safe, returning to familiar wells instead of taking their chances on something new. They’re reaching back so often that they’re now scraping the bottom of the barrel, ordering sequels that don’t seem to have demand for them.

The film is directed by Guy Ritchie and stars Jason Statham – the duo worked together at the beginning of their careers in The Cunning, the Brain and the Two Smoking Barrels, The Bluff and Revolver, and then they came together again in the adaptation film Wrath of Man. In addition to Statham, Aubrey Plaza, Hugh Grant, Bugzy Malone, Cary Elwes and Josh Hartnett will be seen in the cast.
