Chloë Grace Moretz reflects on breaking her silence on the Family Guy meme that bodyshamed her and what she hopes people will learn from it.
KickAss actor Chloë Grace Moretz reflected on breaking her silence about the bodyshaming meme that warped her physique to look like a disproportionate character from Family Guy sharing what she hopes people learn from her story.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight Moretz said that if people take one thing away from her comments on the meme its that compassion is a really key thing in humanity and just being kind with the words that you say with one another the things you say online. She added I think compassion is key and I hope that the world can have a little bit more of that.
Moretz made her first public comments about the meme which edited a photo of her so it looked like she had no torso in September 2022. She said that the photo came at a time when she was already feeling selfconscious due to the amount of unwanted male attention she was receiving. She added that the meme really affected her and that to this day its something very hard for me to overcome.
Moretz is known for her roles in The 5th Wave Carrie and KickAss. She may soon be known for making an appearance in the MCU too as the actor reportedly recently met with the studio about a potential role. I would be really interested in playing a villain in Marvel or DC she revealed and jumping into more of the darker side of the role. She added that it all depends on finding the right role and the right project.
An actionpacked project would likely be a positive outcome for fans that were disappointed to hear that she isnt interested in reprising her role as Hit Girl in a potential KickAss 3. I dont think there will be a KickAss 3 she explained at least I dont think with HitGirl in it. This may have something to do with the fact that she wished [KickAss 2] had been handled in a little bit of a different way.
