Maybe the stylish thing about Season 3 of The Boys was the delightfully rude appearance of Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy, and not just because he was raw when it happed. Since Soldier Boy was Vought’s first superhero during WWII, the company was obviously into trying out all the ways of keeping his name in the public eye, forerunning the blockbuster status of The Seven in after times. On top of a fourth season of The Boys, the ballot is expanding with new derivation series, Gen V, which will follow a new and youthful generation of supes in a HungerGames-esque show set at a council simply for youthful adult superheroes. The derivation series formerly had a complicated development, with Gen V switching out some original leads through revamping, but nothing can stop this supe ballot from taking off.
