Kara Bass and Guillermo Rojer surprised 90 Day Fiancé season 9 viewers by posting pictures from their glamorous first pregnancy photos on Instagram. Charlottesville woman Kara, 29, met 23-year-old Guillermo, a Venezuelan man, when she was working in the Dominican Republic. Kara kept in touch with Guillermo, and when her work allowed her to move to the DR, the couple got engaged and started living together. Kara had to return to the U.S. due to COVID-19, but Guillermo joined her on a K-1 visa nine months later on 90 Day Fiancé, which then followed their journey to getting married.
The other Supernatural easter egg you missed in The Boys
Virginia native Kara was seen as problematic for calling herself a cougar. To her, the then 21-year-old Guillermo was beautiful and “definitely legal.” Kara wasn’t bothered by the age gap, but it did lead to issues between her and Guillermo on 90 Day Fiancé. Guillermo felt restricted in the relationship as fans watched Kara being controlling and even telling him he couldn’t spend money on a laptop. Kara didn’t take Guillermo’s suggestions into consideration as they planned their wedding and bothered him with her partying lifestyle. Moreover, Guillermo started having second thoughts about marrying Kara when he found out about how she’d cheated on her ex-boyfriend.
Regardless of the multiple red flags in their relationship, Kara and Guillermo did tie the knot in a recent 90 Day Fiancé episode. Fans got to know what happened to Kara and Guillermo after their wedding on the Tell-All. Host Shaun Robinson revealed that two couples were pregnant at the same time during the reunion. Along with Thais Ramone, Kara was also 16 weeks pregnant. After episode 18 was released on Discovery+ Kara took to Instagram to post pictures of her baby bump on IG. “Baby Rojer coming late November 2022,” Kara wrote in her caption and added the hashtag “#wearepregnant.”
In Kara’s sweet pictures with Guillermo, she wore a black, one-shoulder sheath dress as she cradled her belly in one photo and coyly hugged her husband in another. Kara used the song “’Slipping Through My Fingers” by Ethan Hodges for her photo compilation clip. Kara and Guillermo’s 90 Day Fiancé co-stars, such as Armando Niedermeier-Rubio, Tiffany Franco Smith, and Miona Bell, wished them congratulations in the comments. Meanwhile, the couple told Us Weekly that they are waiting to find out the gender of their baby. “So it’s going to be a really great surprise,” they exclaimed in the statement while thanking fans for being a part of their journey. Viewers who expected Kara to have baby news on the Tell-All for them, owing to a rumor that first spread when the Tell-All was filmed in June, let out a sigh of relief when she finally confirmed the good news and revealed the details.
The pair’s nuptials were aired on 90 Day Fiancé episode 16, but Kara and Guillermo actually got married in July 2021. They recently celebrated their anniversary and have managed to build a great life together in Virginia, where Kara now works as a real estate agent. Kara and Guillermo soon plan on moving to a new place later this year, accompanied by their dog Chiqui Mama, who also appeared on 90 Day Fiancé. Even though Kara and Guillermo won’t be a part of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? given their popularity on social media, fans might just be able to follow their journey on a different 90 Day Fiancé spin-off if it’s dramatic enough.
