Grey’s Anatomy has given fans a sneak peek at the new quintet of surgical residents for season 19. Veteran James Pickens Jr has taken to Instagram to share a first-look picture of him together with the show’s freshest faces: Niko Terho, Reign’s Adelaide Kane, Dash & Lily’s Midori Francis, Harry Shum Jr and Inventing Anna’s Alexis Floyd. “Let’s give a warm welcome to the new Interns of the Grey’s family, excited for season 19,” Pickens, who has been playing Dr Richard Webber since season one, wrote. Last month, the Shondaland medical drama first announced the new cast members, also sharing the character descriptions for each of them. Terho, who has already starred alongside Grey’s’ Jake Borelli in 2020 Freeform movie The Thing About Harry, will play Lucas Adams, determined to prove his worth as a surgeon. Kane, also seen in Neighbours, is set to star as Jules Millin, the responsible daughter of a hippie family, while Francis is Mika Yasuda, a middle child with eight siblings.
