Mayans M.C. Season 4, Episode 10, “When the Breakdown Hit at Midnight,” brought back classic Sons of Anarchy character Tig Trager. In the episode, Tig initially returns to visit San Bernardino Sons of Anarchy member Terry, who is in the hospital after having been shot during the Mayans’ attack on UC Davis. Tig insults and chokes Terry, blaming him for starting the war with the Mayans and the return of Les Packer’s violent and dangerous younger brother. Later, Tig meets with Marcus Alvarez about the war, finally revealing it started due to the Sons of Anarchy finding Alessandro Montez’s body. The Mayans leader, for his part, shows that he’s grown beyond war, while Tig remains ready to fight and kill if need be.
Tig’s inclusion in Mayans M.C. Season 4 was previously revealed by a teaser for the show. Tig debuted in the first episode of Sons of Anarchy and is played by Kim Coates. Originally, he served as the Sergeant-at-Arms for the Charming chapter of the Sons of Anarchy. However, by the end of the series, he’d been promoted to Vice President, a position he still holds as of Mayans M.C..
Created by Kurt Sutter, Sons of Anarchy ran from 2008 until 2014 on FX.
