Many viewers of Obi-Wan Kenobi were delighted to see the face of Temuera Morrison in an unexpected place recently: The second episode of Obi-Wan Kenobi. The actor turned up playing a clone trooper in live-action again for the first time in years. Except this time, the old soldier was on the streets desperate for spare credits.
Even though the actor graced our screens recently in The Book of Boba Fett, he says he doesn’t want the show to be the last we see of the character anytime soon. Speaking with ET, Morrison declared he wants to see a version of Boba Fett that’s a little more recognizable to the one we saw originally.“We’ve got to bring him back somewhere. We’ve got to see the old Boba Fett,” Morrison said. “We reintroduced him. We found out some stuff. But I think it’s time to get him back to his bad*** ways. No two ways around that. So, I think we sort of have that scope to go back there, but that’s out of my control. I’ll just see what happens.”
There are, of course, plenty of ways this could happen. On-screen, Star Wars fans really haven’t seen much of the version of Boba that originated in the 1980s. Much more of that side of him has been shown in recent comics, but there’s a big gap between when we last see him in The Clone Wars and where we meet him again in The Empire Strikes Back.
